Just hours after the Ministry of Gender issued a manhunt for the foreign national accused of leaking intimate videos of Ghanaian women, Shatta Wale has entered the chat—and he is not holding back.
In a tweet that is rapidly going viral on TikTok and X, the Shatta Movement boss appeared to slam the public outcry against the suspect. Instead of condemning the act, Wale argued that many Ghanaian men criticizing the suspect are guilty of similar or worse behavior in private.
"Most of you boys will do worse if you get the chance," Shatta Wale stated, calling out what he sees as hypocrisy in the system.

Backlash or Truth?
His comments have split opinion on social media.
• Team SM: Many fans argue he is speaking the "hard truth" about the toxic culture of leaking tapes in Ghana.
• Critics: Others are blasting him for appearing to justify a crime that the government has officially flagged as "digital sexual exploitation."
With the suspect reportedly fleeing the country, Shatta’s comments have added more fuel to an already burning fire. Is he right, or is this insensitive to the victims?
