The Ministry of Food and Agriculture has signed a deal to launch "Akuafoɔ Anidasoɔ" (Farmers' Hope), a nationwide digital platform designed to register farmers, distribute subsidies, and track food production using tech.

Agriculture in Ghana is getting a massive tech upgrade. Today, the government, through the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MoFA), signed a strategic MoU with Fauree Link GH Limited to deploy a new digital ecosystem called "Akuafoɔ Anidasoɔ".

What does it do?

Think of it as a "database for food security." The platform will:

• Digitally Register Farmers: Creating a verified national database.

• Track Subsidies: Ensuring fertilizer and seeds actually get to the farmers who need them, cutting out middlemen and corruption.

• Market Access: Linking farmers directly to buyers via the app.
